The Park Ridge Juniors will be holding this year’s annual fundraiser “Hang Loose and Help Out” on Saturday, November 14, 2009 at the Marriott O’Hare-Kona Kai.
This year’s main beneficiary is The Center of Concern, a Park Ridge agency which provides support services for the elderly, disabled and others in need.

Many local ceramics artists have donated hundreds of beautiful handcrafted bowls especially for this event. The donation for this event is $12 with all proceeds going to local food charities.

St. Matthew’s Center for Health is again hosting the “Room at the Inn” exhibit on December 5 & 6 from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. at its location at 1601 N. Western Avenue in Park Ridge.
A collection of over 325 nativity scenes from around the world will be on display and guests are invited for refreshments and a free raffle to win a nativity scene.

Volunteers receive an orientation and training before stepping into their important roles of providing service to the thousands of patients and visitors who pass through the hospital each year.
