The Solid Waste Agency of Northern Cook County (SWANCC) is collecting out of date prescription and non-prescription drugs for disposal. The program is for residentially-generated unused prescriptions, expired over-the-counter drugs, and needles known as “sharps”. No commercial or institutional waste will be accepted and IDs will be checked.
Please check your medicine cabinets for out of date medications. They may be dropped off in Community Preservation & Development, Park Ridge City Hall, 505 Butler Place, Park Ridge, IL from 8:00 a.m. -11:00 a.m. on the following dates:
